THE WINDOW

into the soul, through the eyes, = what we see  hear and do shapes our souls worth
try i will to summarize... =  trying to make sense of all you have done to it
i look upon the sea green lens, = holding a piece of sea glass up to the light.
right away time suspends,  = like the glass once sharp and shinny now dull and dim like the soul gets
the window has been opened wide,
humble and devoid of pride, =   pride always goes first   something always pulls you down
i see you clearly through the haze =  even if others see you as you are you dont see that same person they do
a straight path within the maze, =  we wonder around ... no one knows what will happen or what their future will  bring
the outer shell is now background we build walls or a shell around us to keep from hurting
the oyster's pearl has been found, =  inside that shell we turn and build our own special place 
bewitching peace in this moment in time,
heart to heart, mind to mind,
to see this gem inside the shell =  what we build we dont want anyone to take .. it is ours we like it that way we are who we are
has broken every evil spell, =   we feel at peace and comfortable
eyes of truth, eyes of fate, = we accept our life's
to look again is worth the wait. =  everyone has some worth
