laying in a hammock looking up at the sky;
"what are you doing out here?"" watching clouds go by."
as they do stars shine through,
they shine in your eyes sparkling so true.
the only light in my vision tonight,
is you...
putting a glow on your silhouette,
your beauty i can not forget;
like a dream, you're standing there;
should i reach out, should I dare...
if i do, will you disappear?
what i see is not really clear,
but what i feel, one can't replace;
you stole my heart without a trace.
i don't mind cause it's in good hands;
I close my eyes and there you stand...
before me now, as real as ever...
then i reach out and you take my hand without a sound,
a dreamland connection i find completely profound.
why do these have to be so long ,
why can't it just end in a song,
singing so happily today,
swinging in a hammock this way?
